The Feliberto Izotz was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Niceto Ramone kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After 28 minutes of play, Lanus F.C.'s Niceto Ramone made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Victor Duardo was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafin Franco in the 31st minute of play forced MARCE FC's goalkeeper Victor Duardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Lanus F.C.'s goalkeeper Feliberto Izotz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hernan Cresenciano. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dante Mano got free with Feliberto Izotz in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Serafin Franco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Victor Duardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victor Duardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Uhin in the 41st minute of the match. Edgardo Uhin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Duardo having to interfere. After the first half Lanus F.C. were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edgardo Uhin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Lanus F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Dante Mano came free, but Feliberto Izotz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Feliberto Izotz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dante Mano, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Serafin Franco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aurelio Nayely's late challenge caught a MARCE FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aurelio Nayely helped the player get up and apologised. In the 85th match minute, Lanus F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Nayely to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 88 minutes, Hector Poz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MARCE FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hector Poz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lanus F.C.'s Feliberto Izotz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernan Cresenciano in the 93rd minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Lanus F.C. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
