In the 9th match minute, Cultural was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonzo Gorri to maneuver through the defense. After 11 played minutes Cultural got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Domenec. After 12 played minutes Cultural got a freekick which was hit by Leon Iturri. In the 22nd minute Edelmiro Benvido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicanor Theobald saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ivan Loiola during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ivan Loiola kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 26 minutes into the game, Rodrigo Fidele cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Nicanor Theobald dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. When Amador Bihar fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cultural's protests and gave Amador Bihar a yellow card for diving instead. After 46 played minutes Cultural got a freekick which was hit by Apolo Venceslas.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Flavio Oskitz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 57 minutes, Silvestre Karlo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mattaldi AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvestre Karlo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rodrigo Fidele sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flavio Oskitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermegildo Rufio having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Cultural's goalkeeper Nicanor Theobald had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodrigo Fidele. Cultural's Gustavo Domenec got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rodrigo Fideles short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Nicanor Theobald to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Edelmiro Benvido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Nicanor Theobald tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 78 in the game by Rodrigo Fidele from a close distance when the talented Nicanor Theobald managed to make a qualified save. Cultural's players were relieved. Cultural's Nicanor Theobald proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Cultural from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Oskitz in the 84th minute of play forced Mattaldi AFC's goalkeeper Ermegildo Rufio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 92 played minutes, Cultural's Leon Iturri shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ermegildo Rufio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cultural reached it. Mattaldi AFC's Ermegildo Rufio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Oskitz in the 93rd minute of play. After taking down the ball on Cultural's corner Amador Bihar fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ermegildo Rufio quite easily take care of the ball.
