La Naranja Mecanica's Oscar Gilen got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 6 minutes into the game, Miguel Madeo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Accauntants's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Naranja Mecanica the free kick. Clemente Cordeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Alfredo Tiniebra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oscar Gilen took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfredo Tiniebra. Alfredo Tiniebra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 25 minutes into the match, La Naranja Mecanica's goal looked a bit too open when Geronimo Martino came free, but Nemesio Batista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of La Naranja Mecanica booed when Accauntants was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Froilan Edwardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Clemente Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 41st minute of the match Miguel Madeo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Miguel Madeo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Clemente Cordeiro in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfredo Tiniebra saved Accauntants from getting behind. Nemesio Batista came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Accauntants's Amadeo Sanchez. But to his dismay, Amadeo Sanchez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

La Naranja Mecanica's Clemente Cordeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Amadeo Sanchez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Accauntants's supporters rose to their feet, but Amadeo Sanchez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nemesio Batista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Artemio Janpier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Amadeo Sanchez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Accauntants's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
