If Rafael Rico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Moise Minculescu fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chicago Bulls's protests and gave Moise Minculescu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 10th minute, Moise Minculescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eriberto Erroman kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Fabian Magdaleno charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabian Magdaleno the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 16 played minutes C.A.Temperley got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Magdaleno. Ramon Hofland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Elias Romelio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juan Mikelats made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodosio Atarrabi in the 26th minute of play. After having played for 28 minutes, Jorge Ur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chicago Bulls's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Ur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eusebio Bartolome fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Romelio having to interfere. C.A.Temperley's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Eusebio Bartolome 35 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Rafael Rico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Juan Mikelats tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Chicago Bulls's Eusebio Bartolome slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Elias Romelio. That made the score 2-0 after 46 minutes of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teodosio Atarrabi made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafael Rico got free with Juan Mikelats in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elias Romelio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebio Bartolome, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teodosio Atarrabi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chicago Bulls's Juan Mikelats played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodosio Atarrabi in the 76th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Chicago Bulls's goalkeeper Juan Mikelats had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafael Rico. Eusebio Bartolome came free in the 83rd minute and tried to tip the ball over Elias Romelio, but to the joy of C.A.Temperley's supporters the ball went over. Eusebio Bartolome took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elias Romelio. Elias Romelio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Rafael Rico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Juan Mikelats tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eusebio Bartolome struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Elias Romelio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chicago Bulls. In the 97th minute, Chicago Bulls's Gaston Corderun seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gaston Corderun the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Chicago Bulls protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gaston Corderun had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Gaston Corderun hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. Juan Mikelats took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodosio Atarrabi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the Chicago Bulls players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
