Blas Remir showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodosio Atarrabi, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The audience was convinced that Carlos Egoi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elias Romelio was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. After 25 played minutes C.A.Temperley got a freekick which was hit by Elias Abadie. Teodosio Atarrabi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Marcelino Brais fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Selva AFC's protests and gave Marcelino Brais a yellow card for diving instead. Honorio Tano placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Carlos Egoi's late challenge caught a C.A.Temperley's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Egoi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 35th minute, Carlos Egoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Nereo Arias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Egoi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elias Romelio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Nereo Arias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Elias Romelio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teodosio Atarrabi made a kick off. 59 minutes into the match, C.A.Temperley's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Egoi came free, but Elias Romelio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 62 minutes of play, Selva AFC's Nereo Arias made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elias Romelio was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Selva AFC's Carlos Egoi in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Egoi in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elias Romelio saved C.A.Temperley from getting behind. After 75 played minutes Selva AFC got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Dolcet. Rafael Rico charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rafael Rico the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rafael Rico kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Nereo Arias who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Elias Romelio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 85 minutes into the match, C.A.Temperley's goalkeeper Elias Romelio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nereo Arias. 91 minutes into the match, Selva AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Rico came free, but Blas Remir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nereo Arias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Elias Romelio made a huge save. 95 minutes into the game, Eriberto Erroman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A.Temperley's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Selva AFC the free kick. The supporters of Selva AFC booed when C.A.Temperley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eriberto Erroman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Egoi struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Elias Romelio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Selva AFC. The C.A.Temperley supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Selva AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Selva AFC.
