Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Carmelo Moise got the match started through his kick off. Rodolfo Salbatore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Egoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 6 played minutes Selva AFC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Egoi. Nicolas Urritz might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Blas Remir. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicolas Urritz ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Selva AFC's Severino Edwardo got a free kick in the 8th minute. Carmelo Moise recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaspar Efraim during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Margarita booed when Selva AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaspar Efraim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Blas Remir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Urritz in the 12th minute of play. Nereo Arias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Salbatore having to interfere. Placido Estavan charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Placido Estavan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th match minute, Margarita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Placido Estavan to maneuver through the defense. After 19 played minutes Selva AFC got a freekick which was hit by Severino Edwardo. In the 25th of the match, Severino Edwardo tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Rodolfo Salbatore got in the way and made a wonderful save. Nereo Arias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Carlos Egoi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rodolfo Salbatore. That made the score 1-0 in the 31 minute of play. Margarita's Rodolfo Salbatore proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Margarita from getting a goal against them. Carlos Egoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Rodolfo Salbatore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Egoi couldn't finish the play. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Margarita's goalkeeper Rodolfo Salbatore, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Selva AFC's zone, Nicolas Urritz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blas Remir came out of the goal and Nicolas Urritz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Blas Remir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmelo Moise in the 77th minute of the match. Gaspar Efraim was shown his second yellow card after 78 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Carmelo Moise had several of the Selva AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 81 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Blas Remir as he didn't even see the shot coming. Rodolfo Salbatore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Egoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Placido Estavan was shown his second yellow card after 86 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 87th match minute, Margarita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Placido Estavan to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Selva AFC's Orlando Dolcet got a free kick in the 90th minute. Severino Edwardo struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Rodolfo Salbatore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Selva AFC. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Selva AFC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
