Spectators: 6663 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Victorio Mikelats started the match with the kick off. Victorio Mikelats received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Evelio Cordearo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute Zacarias Santxol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Azubeli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th match minute, Soledad FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guido Matteo to maneuver through the defense. Evelio Cordearo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorio Mikelats, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cirilo Gonsalve might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Evelio Cordearo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cirilo Gonsalve ran back to his position shaking his head. When Victorio Mikelats came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Soledad FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victorio Mikelats couldn't finish the play. 23 minutes into the match, Soledad FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zacarias Santxol came free, but Angel Azubeli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lugano City's Zacarias Santxol got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Celestino Lapurdi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 29thth minute tested the skills of Angel Azubeli when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zacarias Santxol in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angel Azubeli saved Soledad FC from getting behind. Celestino Lapurdi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Angel Azubeli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Lugano City defense, Victorio Mikelats kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Evelio Cordearo. The Lugano City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Evelio Cordearo should have stopped the shot. After 41 played minutes Lugano City got a freekick which was hit by Rene Justin. Soledad FC's Angel Azubeli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zacarias Santxol in the 44th minute of play. Cirilo Gonsalve sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zacarias Santxol made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adrian Brais during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 56th match minute, Lugano City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Brais to maneuver through the defense. 58 minutes into the match, Soledad FC's Cirilo Gonsalve sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Evelio Cordearo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Evelio Cordearo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorio Mikelats in the 65th minute of play. Cirilo Gonsalve fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evelio Cordearo having to interfere. A collision led to Soledad FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Guido Matteo hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute Zacarias Santxol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Azubeli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angel Azubeli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zacarias Santxol in the 74th minute of the match. Zacarias Santxol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zacarias Santxol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Angel Azubeli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Soledad FC's zone, Zacarias Santxol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angel Azubeli came out of the goal and Zacarias Santxol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Victorio Mikelats fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evelio Cordearo having to interfere. Angel Azubeli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celestino Lapurdi in the 88th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Zacarias Santxol put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Angel Azubeli. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
