CASTIGADORES's Aquilino Henric played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zacarias Santxol in the 40th minute of play. After the first half C.A. CASTIGADORES were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Saul Chepe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Lugano City's Benicio Jerrald nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aquilino Henric made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Aquilino Henric showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celestino Lapurdi in the 64th minute of the match. After 66 played minutes Lugano City got a freekick which was hit by Cayetano Iban. Cleto Llanos was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 67th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Evelio Cordearo was a little too slow when Saul Chepe got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 1-2. Zacarias Santxol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquilino Henric having to interfere. Zacarias Santxol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Aquilino Henric tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 81 played minutes Lugano City got a freekick which was hit by Rene Justin. If Justino Cordareo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute.
