The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Santiago FC's David Eyague played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciriaco Mantzio in the 8th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, La Banda de Río 4to's goal looked a bit too open when Anastasio Eneto came free, but Guillermo Arce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carolo Quin was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 43 minutes into the match. After 42 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for La Banda de Río 4to! After a long run with the ball, Primitivo Etxatxu did a trick in the 46th minute in front of La Banda de Río 4to's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 1-1. An impressive performance by Santiago FC's Primitivo Etxatxu! The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 63rd minute, Anastasio Eneto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 66th minute Anastasio Eneto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillermo Arce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
