Ciriaco Ponc's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gustavo Garoa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. In the 7thth minute of the game Alvar Lluc who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Trons's Gustavo Garoa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ciriaco Ponc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 12 minutes, Ciriaco Ponc managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Llacuna Fútbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciriaco Ponc was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Eulalio Kelemen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustavo Garoa was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. In the 21st minute of the match Los Trons got a corner. Llacuna Fútbol Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ildefonso Erasto ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Los Trons's Ildefonso Erasto to fire away a dangerous shot which Leopoldo Oinaz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 25thth minute of the game Ciriaco Ponc who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Trons's Gustavo Garoa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 29 minutes, Ciriaco Ponc made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Los Trons's Gustavo Garoa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Llacuna Fútbol Club booed when Los Trons was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Venancio Quinito didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute of the match Virgilio Herena sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gustavo Garoa skillfully saved the ball. In the 38th minute, Ciriaco Ponc ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gustavo Garoa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 44th minute, Ciriaco Ponc got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Eulalio Kelemen notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Los Trons's Gustavo Garoa. Gustavo Garoa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ciriaco Ponc to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Venancio Quinito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustavo Garoa made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Alvar Lluc sent off a good shot on target. Gervasio Oihan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Leopoldo Oinaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Llacuna Fútbol Club booed when Los Trons was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inocencio Gorosti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gerardo Gonzalez might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leopoldo Oinaz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gerardo Gonzalez ran back to his position shaking his head. Natalio Abalos hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Los Trons's zone, Alvar Lluc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo Garoa came out of the goal and Alvar Lluc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 81 minutes, Ciriaco Ponc made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Los Trons's Gustavo Garoa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ciriaco Ponc got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 0-5 in the right cross in the 85th match minute before Gustavo Garoa had time to react. Inocencio Gorosti hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Ciriaco Ponc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ciriaco Ponc struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Gustavo Garoa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Llacuna Fútbol Club. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alvar Lluc in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustavo Garoa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 95 minutes into the match, Los Trons's goalkeeper Gustavo Garoa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ciriaco Ponc. When the final whistle sounded Llacuna Fútbol Club left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Los Trons.
