Marcelino Abancens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eulalio Kelemen in the 3rd minute of play. When Ciriaco Ponc came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Llacuna Fútbol Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciriaco Ponc couldn't finish the play. After 17 played minutes, Lavoisier FC's Vladimiro Mederi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leopoldo Oinaz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lavoisier FC reached it. A hard shot 23 in the game by Ciriaco Ponc from a close distance when the talented Marcelino Abancens managed to make a qualified save. Lavoisier FC's players were relieved. The supporters of Lavoisier FC booed when Llacuna Fútbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eulalio Kelemen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leopoldo Oinaz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvano Clodio, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Marcelino Abancens was a little too slow when Ciriaco Ponc got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 3-0. After 33 minutes of play, Llacuna Fútbol Club's Ciriaco Ponc made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcelino Abancens was left in no man's land by his defense there! With his leg Marcelino Abancens managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when Llacuna Fútbol Club's Ciriaco Ponc fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 42nd match minute, Lavoisier FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amancio Pancho to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute, Ciriaco Ponc ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelino Abancens was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Silvano Clodio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Ciriaco Ponc made a precise shot to the right of Marcelino Abancens. Lavoisier FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Ciriaco Ponc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelino Abancens having to interfere. 56 minutes into the game, Amancio Pancho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lavoisier FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Llacuna Fútbol Club the free kick. In the 56th match minute, Lavoisier FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amancio Pancho to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute, Ciriaco Ponc made a precise shot to the right of Marcelino Abancens. Lavoisier FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Marcelino Abancens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ciriaco Ponc's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Ciriaco Ponc sped through Lavoisier FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcelino Abancens. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ciriaco Ponc in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelino Abancens saved Lavoisier FC from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Silverio Otsoko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcelino Abancens was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ciriaco Ponc in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelino Abancens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 86 minutes Lavoisier FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Virgilio Herena who took care of the corner kick. Ruben Iratxo made a great header on Llacuna Fútbol Club's corner, it was just that Lavoisier FC's Marcelino Abancens managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciriaco Ponc in the 88th minute of play forced Lavoisier FC's goalkeeper Marcelino Abancens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ciriaco Ponc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
