But to his dismay, Silvano Telesforo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 47 minutes into the match, Golpess's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Paz came free, but Alvaro Francesco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Uno Ling made a kick off. Santiago Terciero's late challenge caught a Espadas De Luz FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santiago Terciero helped the player get up and apologised. A hard shot by Ignacio Urbes from long distance, 53 minutes into the match, got Alvaro Francesco's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 57 minutes into the match, Golpess's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Savier came free, but Alvaro Francesco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvaro Francesco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivan Paz in the 63rd minute. Alvaro Francesco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvano Telesforo in the 65th minute of play. 70 minutes into the game, Horacio Illan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
