Espadas De Luz FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivan Paz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luisito Matxin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 14th match minute, GF Cachengue was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Cloyo to maneuver through the defense. Claudio Guzman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Mambru in the 19th minute of the match. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by Espadas De Luz FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Prospero Lucado was slow to take the kick. During this time GF Cachengue's players had a chance to rest. Prospero Lucado made a great header on GF Cachengue's corner, it was just that Espadas De Luz FC's Claudio Guzman managed to reach the ball for a save. Claudio Guzman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Mambru in the 23rd minute of play. Luisito Matxin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivan Paz in the 31st minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leandro Mambru to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Silvano Telesforo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 53 minutes into the game, Aristides Boniel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Espadas De Luz FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GF Cachengue the free kick. Luciano Inguma helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Espadas De Luz FC's Luciano Inguma got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Claudio Guzman was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and Leandro Mambru capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leandro Mambru really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. GF Cachengue's Luisito Matxin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Paz in the 94th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the GF Cachengue players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
