The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Andres Quintana made a kick off. In the 53rd play minute Alberto Virila came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Aquilino Perrando. 1-2. In the 67th minute of the match Isaac Fix sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gerardo Hitz skillfully saved the ball. Alberto Virila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquilino Perrando having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Palominos's zone, Alberto Virila stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aquilino Perrando came out of the goal and Alberto Virila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Federico Bertin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Gerardo Hitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aquilino Perrando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaudencio Ostadar in the 85th minute of the match. Ernesto Kaxens short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Aquilino Perrando to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gaudencio Ostadar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Esperanza FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
