After 12 minutes, Clodoveo Valente mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PASTORIZA FC and the Babilonia FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. PASTORIZA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delmar Blasi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cesar Macerio to make the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Delmar Blasi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 64th minute, Geronimo Mendebal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. PASTORIZA FC's Guido Kimetz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constantino Aimar in the 76th minute of play. Fabian Marques hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute Constantino Aimar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guido Kimetz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guido Kimetz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Cheche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Claudio Evarado came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the PASTORIZA FC fans jumped to their feet. After 87 minutes of play, Babilonia FC's Dionisio Francis made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guido Kimetz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Manuel Hermon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle, Babilonia FC could leave the field as winners, despite PASTORIZA FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
