SPortivo Moretti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mdq FC the free kick. After 12 played minutes SPortivo Moretti got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Frascuelo. After a defensive mix-up in Mdq FC's zone, Mariano Loren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Bilintx came out of the goal and Mariano Loren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paulo Bilintx stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mariano Loren's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Zeledon Rivas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Silban, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ambrosio Liberto got free with Zeledon Rivas in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Mdq FC's Zeledon Rivas threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leopoldo Silban, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 36 minutes into the match, SPortivo Moretti's goalkeeper Zeledon Rivas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ambrosio Liberto. Through an outstanding action, after 42 minutes, Zeledon Rivas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ambrosio Liberto got free with Zeledon Rivas in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ambrosio Liberto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 46thth minute, Zeledon Rivas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

A very good chance. 58 minutes into the game, Mdq FC's Ambrosio Liberto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zeledon Rivas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 61 minutes into the match, SPortivo Moretti's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Silban came free, but Zeledon Rivas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariano Loren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SPortivo Moretti's Everardo Tallia got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the SPortivo Moretti defense, Leopoldo Silban kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zeledon Rivas. The SPortivo Moretti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zeledon Rivas should have stopped the shot. Mariano Loren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mariano Loren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Bilintx having to interfere. Zeledon Rivas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leopoldo Silban went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. After 90 played minutes Mdq FC got a freekick which was hit by Elpidio Virila. 94 minutes into the match, SPortivo Moretti's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Silban came free, but Zeledon Rivas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Mdq FC had won after a very even match.
