Tadeo Iago's late challenge caught a Dragon Azzurro FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tadeo Iago helped the player get up and apologised. Tadeo Iago hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. If Mariano Loren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mariano Loren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Everardo Tallia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Joaquin Gonzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th match minute, Dragon Azzurro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascual Silbestre to maneuver through the defense. SPortivo Moretti's Mariano Loren got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Evelio Garci came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Dragon Azzurro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evelio Garci couldn't finish the play. Mariano Lorens short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Joaquin Gonzo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Mariano Loren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joaquin Gonzo having to make a save. Dragon Azzurro FC's Joaquin Gonzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Loren in the 36th minute of play. Evelio Garci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 51st minute, Mariano Loren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Everardo Tallia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 61 minutes of play, SPortivo Moretti's Mariano Loren made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joaquin Gonzo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 65 minutes into the match, Dragon Azzurro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Loren came free, but Joaquin Gonzo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascual Silbestre in the 68th minute of play forced SPortivo Moretti's goalkeeper Zeledon Rivas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mariano Loren struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Joaquin Gonzo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SPortivo Moretti. Joaquin Gonzo came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by SPortivo Moretti's Mariano Loren. But to his dismay, Mariano Loren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Joaquin Gonzo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mariano Loren's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. The audience was convinced that Mariano Loren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gonzo was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Enrique Frascuelo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Joaquin Gonzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90thth minute of the game Mariano Loren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dragon Azzurro FC's Joaquin Gonzo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zeledon Rivas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascual Silbestre, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. SPortivo Moretti's defense didn't have a chance, in the 96th minute, when Paulo Rocendo scored to the left of an out of position Zeledon Rivas, making the score, 2-2. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the SPortivo Moretti players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
