Haroldo Ponce blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leon Beti having to make a save. If Serafin Gauargi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 7thth minute of the game Haroldo Ponce who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Elida's Leon Beti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Feliciano Grabiel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Leon Beti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alonzo Marin kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Elida's Ceferino Maties got a free kick in the 25th minute. Haroldo Ponce did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Leon Beti 27 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the match, Elida's goal looked a bit too open when Serafin Gauargi came free, but Leon Beti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Haroldo Ponce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Beti having to interfere. Elida's Adan Atarratze couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 39th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Iguassu. Elida's Leon Beti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haroldo Ponce in the 42nd minute of play. Leon Beti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliciano Grabiel in the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Silvestre Paez made the kick off in the second half. Haroldo Ponce blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leon Beti having to make a save. Haroldo Ponce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Beti having to interfere. Haroldo Ponce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Leon Beti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute Haroldo Ponce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Beti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the game, Silvestre Paez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Elida's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Iguassu the free kick. In the 67th minute, Silvestre Paez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 68 minutes into the match, Elida's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Ponce came free, but Leon Beti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leon Beti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliciano Grabiel, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 70th minute of the match Iguassu got a corner. Elida's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hipolito Dabi ran over to the corner to take the kick. Hipolito Dabi made a great header on Iguassu's corner, it was just that Elida's Leon Beti managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 71st minute, Haroldo Ponce got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Haroldo Ponce had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leon Beti. Elida's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Haroldo Ponce was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Iguassu's Haroldo Ponce suffered a concussion in the 78th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Lorenzo Prejun charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lorenzo Prejun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Iguassu made a substitution. Braulio Iraitz replaced Haroldo Ponce. Lorenzo Prejun hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Braulio Iraitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Beti having to interfere. Serafin Gauargi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 89 minutes into the game, Braulio Iraitz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Leon Beti was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 93rd minute, Braulio Iraitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Feliciano Grabiel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Beti having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Iguassu players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
