In the 20th minute Victor Galeno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Sancho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuel Sancho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Ascencio in the 21st minute of the match. 30 minutes into the game, SS Español's Marcelo Ascencio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulises Vasco in the 93rd minute of play forced SS Español's goalkeeper Javier Marz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute, Gervasio Gaspard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 96 minutes into the game, Aaron Oliveiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Javier Marz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Rueda players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented SS Español from taking control.
