In the 5th minute, Nickson FC's Teodosio Sayvion seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Teodosio Sayvion the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Nickson FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Teodosio Sayvion had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 4 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Nickson FC! Cosme Euloxu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eleuterio Beremundo in the 13th minute of the match. Nickson FC's Primitivo Bizen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paolo Estevez in the 18th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Eleuterio Beremundo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosme Euloxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the game, Osvaldo Gurutz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Frías FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nickson FC the free kick. Osvaldo Gurutz kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eleuterio Beremundo to strike the kick off in the second half. Eleuterio Beremundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Euloxu having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, Frías FC's goalkeeper Cosme Euloxu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eleuterio Beremundo.
