Faraday FC's Ildefonso Ikatz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hamish McShimes in the 26th minute of play. After 31 played minutes LA MAQUINA F.C got a freekick which was hit by Severo Marz. The audience was convinced that Hamish McShimes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ildefonso Ikatz was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Hamish McShimes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ildefonso Ikatz having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, LA MAQUINA F.C's Hamish McShimes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ildefonso Ikatz. Ildefonso Ikatz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. Hamish McShimes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Hamish McShimes made the kick off in the second half. Hamish McShimes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ildefonso Ikatz having to make a save. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Carlos Alberto Pernambucano sped through Faraday FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ildefonso Ikatz. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Loco Borja in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ildefonso Ikatz saved Faraday FC from getting behind. Isidoro Playo hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After 58 played minutes LA MAQUINA F.C got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Playo. Ildefonso Ikatz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hamish McShimes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the match, Faraday FC's goal looked a bit too open when Loco Borja came free, but Ildefonso Ikatz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hamish McShimes in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ildefonso Ikatz saved Faraday FC from getting behind. In the 74thth minute of the game Rigoberto Turi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Faraday FC's Ildefonso Ikatz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arturo Sanson during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The LA MAQUINA F.C fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when LA MAQUINA F.C's Loco Borja looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ildefonso Ikatz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Alberto Pernambucano in the 82nd minute of play. After 83 minutes Faraday FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sérgio Berti who took care of the corner kick. 88 minutes into the game, Rigoberto Turi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Ildefonso Ikatz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 91 minutes into the match, Faraday FC's goal looked a bit too open when Severo Marz came free, but Ildefonso Ikatz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ildefonso Ikatz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severo Marz in the 93rd minute of play. Faraday FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
