Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 崔邦悦 made the kick off and thus started the match. The Lugano Futbol fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Lugano Futbol's Luciano Alvarez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 10th minute, Luciano Alvarez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ildefonso Ikatz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luciano Alvarez in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ildefonso Ikatz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ruud Wollans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 崔邦悦, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Faraday FC's Ildefonso Ikatz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Alvarez in the 21st minute of play. Ruud Wollans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 崔邦悦, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Faraday FC's 崔邦悦 came free and shot a quick shot against goal 28 minutes in the game, fortunately Ruud Wollans had problems saving as it came toward the left post. 29 minutes into the match, Lugano Futbol's Luciano Alvarez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ildefonso Ikatz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ruud Wollans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 崔邦悦 in the 31st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luciano Alvarez in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ildefonso Ikatz saved Faraday FC from getting behind. In the 36thth minute of the game Luciano Alvarez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Faraday FC's Ildefonso Ikatz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Luciano Alvarez sped through Faraday FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ildefonso Ikatz. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Faraday FC's goalkeeper Ildefonso Ikatz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 40 minutes Faraday FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eloy Herauso who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Lugano Futbol's corner Eloy Herauso fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ildefonso Ikatz quite easily take care of the ball. Ildefonso Ikatz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Alvarez in the 43rd minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luciano Alvarez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes had been played when some careless play by Faraday FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eloy Herauso was slow to take the kick. During this time Lugano Futbol's players had a chance to rest. Eloy Herauso made a great header on Lugano Futbol's corner, it was just that Faraday FC's Ildefonso Ikatz managed to reach the ball for a save. 53 minutes into the match, Luciano Alvarez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ildefonso Ikatz. Faraday FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luciano Alvarez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. In the 61st minute, Ceferino Formerio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ildefonso Ikatz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luciano Alvarez's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. A hard shot 72 in the game by Luciano Alvarez from a close distance when the talented Ildefonso Ikatz managed to make a qualified save. Faraday FC's players were relieved. When Hilario Harriet fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Faraday FC's protests and gave Hilario Harriet a yellow card for diving instead. The audience was convinced that Luciano Alvarez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ildefonso Ikatz was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Luciano Alvarez struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Ildefonso Ikatz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lugano Futbol. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Alvarez in the 80th minute of play forced Faraday FC's goalkeeper Ildefonso Ikatz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 81 minutes Faraday FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eloy Herauso who took care of the corner kick. A very nice done corner allowed Hermengildo Liberto to score against Ildefonso Ikatz in Faraday FC's goal. 0-7 after 81 minutes. Luciano Alvarezs short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Ildefonso Ikatz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The Lugano Futbol supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lugano Futbol would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
