Benjamin Elazar started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the game, EL CELE FUTBOL CLUB's Jeremias Venerando nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Melquiades Fiz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Melquiades Fiz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arturo Hitz went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Melquiades Fiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Venerando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute, Emilio Sanduru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of EL CELE FUTBOL CLUB booed when Imperio del Sur was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernan Juvenal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Imperio del Sur's Melquiades Fiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lili Oddang in the 22nd minute of play. The supporters of Imperio del Sur booed when EL CELE FUTBOL CLUB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeledon Vigil didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute, Orlando Ralondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Melquiades Fiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Hitz in the 30th minute of play. Severo Ereinotz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Elazar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emilio Sanduru hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Zeledon Vigil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Imperio del Sur's goal looked a bit too open when Lili Oddang came free, but Melquiades Fiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Lili Oddang made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, EL CELE FUTBOL CLUB's Lili Oddang ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Melquiades Fiz. Melquiades Fiz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Emilio Sanduru hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Melquiades Fiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lili Oddang, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Melquiades Fiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lili Oddang in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd match minute, EL CELE FUTBOL CLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lili Oddang to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Benjamin Elazar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Severo Ereinotz was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. With a little luck, Imperio del Sur's Melquiades Fiz got control of the ball when Jeremias Venerando tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as EL CELE FUTBOL CLUB's Lili Oddang slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Melquiades Fiz. That made the score 0-7 after 78 minutes of play. Benjamin Elazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severo Ereinotz having to interfere. EL CELE FUTBOL CLUB's Severo Ereinotz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Elazar in the 87th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benjamin Elazar in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Severo Ereinotz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. EL CELE FUTBOL CLUB's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
