In the 6thth minute of the game Hipolito Mazuste who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Xeneises F.C.'s Domingo Raymond was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 9 minutes into the match, FC Rejuntado's goal looked a bit too open when Justo Shepherd came free, but Vladimiro Mundo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Justo Shepherd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Domingo Raymond took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hipolito Mazuste, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reynaldo Cambranes's late challenge caught a FC Rejuntado's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reynaldo Cambranes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 46th match minute, Xeneises F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynaldo Cambranes to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Teodoro Vargas made the kick off in the second half. Xeneises F.C.'s Justo Shepherd got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Teodoro Vargas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Domingo Raymond was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Justo Shepherd hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. With 68 minutes on the clock, Serafin Maldonado commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Cristo Nicholas kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. 85 minutes into the game, Justo Shepherd recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vladimiro Mundo. Justo Shepherd showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. In the 89th minute, Jonatan Formerio made a precise shot to the right of Vladimiro Mundo. FC Rejuntado's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. The FC Rejuntado fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Xeneises F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
