After 3 minutes, Pablo Acosta made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. FC Rejuntado's Vladimiro Mundo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Vladimiro Mundo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Suero in the 8th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Arnaldo Suero put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Vladimiro Mundo. If Leon Maju had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnaldo Suero in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vladimiro Mundo saved FC Rejuntado from getting behind. Francisco Hernandez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but João Francisco Lucas made a huge save. Arnaldo Suero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 22 minutes into the match, FC Rejuntado's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Acosta came free, but Vladimiro Mundo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Globo Juniors's João Francisco Lucas got control of the ball when Francisco Hernandez tried to sneak it across the goal line. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Rejuntado's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aílton Neto was slow to take the kick. During this time Globo Juniors's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Globo Juniors's corner Aílton Neto fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vladimiro Mundo quite easily take care of the ball. If Pablo Acosta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37thth minute of the game Arnaldo Suero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Rejuntado's Vladimiro Mundo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Globo Juniors's Raimundo Estebe managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Teo Domingues in the 41 minute of the game.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnaldo Suero made a kick off. After 53 minutes FC Rejuntado's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aílton Neto who took care of the corner kick. Globo Juniors's Aílton Neto was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vladimiro Mundo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Arnaldo Suero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, FC Rejuntado's Vladimiro Mundo got control of the ball when Leon Maju tried to sneak it across the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, FC Rejuntado's goalkeeper Vladimiro Mundo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pablo Acosta. Vladimiro Mundo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnaldo Suero's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hipolito Mazuste in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg João Francisco Lucas saved Globo Juniors from getting behind. Aílton Neto kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. FC Rejuntado made a substitution. Domingo Bela replaced Enrique Mannie. Aílton Neto hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. João Francisco Lucas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Brion in the 66th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leon Maju got free with Vladimiro Mundo in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Globo Juniors's Leon Maju got a free kick in the 69th minute. After 71 minutes, Guaberto Rolado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Rejuntado and the Globo Juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card. Guaberto Rolado hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. FC Rejuntado made a substitution. Nestor Pierres replaced Guaberto Rolado. The supporters of Globo Juniors booed when FC Rejuntado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guaberto Rolado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vladimiro Mundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Suero in the 74th minute of play. Arnaldo Suero received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vladimiro Mundo came out and tried to block the shot, but Arnaldo Suero slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 75th minute. João Francisco Lucas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Hernandez in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Arnaldo Suero fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 86 minutes, Pablo Acosta made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. FC Rejuntado's Vladimiro Mundo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Pablo Acosta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Vladimiro Mundo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Francisco Lucas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Brion in the 92nd minute of play. João Francisco Lucas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro Vargas, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Globo Juniors's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
