Mario Sadurni hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the match, Velez Capo's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Pepillo came free, but Emirhan Canel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aurelio Pepillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Velez Capo booed when Rawson F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristo Venceslas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Rawson F.C's Raul Petrescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emirhan Canel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Velez Capo's Tibo Kerstens got a free kick in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Oskarbi in the 33rd minute of play forced Rawson F.C's goalkeeper Laureano Jago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emirhan Canel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Dias in the 36th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Velez Capo's Orlando Oskarbi got a free kick in the 38th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Velez Capo's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Dias came free, but Emirhan Canel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristian Dias stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Cristian Dias came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Rawson F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Dias couldn't finish the play. Rawson F.C's Laureano Jago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Oskarbi in the 59th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Orlando Oskarbi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Velez Capo's supporters rose to their feet, but Orlando Oskarbi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laureano Jago breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emirhan Canel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Dias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rawson F.C made a substitution. Gustavo Maraman replaced Damian Tristan. In the 74th minute of the match Rawson F.C got a corner. Velez Capo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Raul Petrescu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Gustavo Maraman made a great header on Rawson F.C's corner, it was just that Velez Capo's Emirhan Canel managed to reach the ball for a save. After 75 minutes Velez Capo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Raul Petrescu who took care of the corner kick. In the 81st minute Velez Capo were awarded a corner. Orlando Oskarbi went to the cornerflag to take it. The Rawson F.C supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Rawson F.C would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
