Ambrosio Gamus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximo Aimar in the 6th minute. After 7 played minutes, Hongo FC's Eustaquio Benvide shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ambrosio Gamus came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hongo FC reached it. The supporters of Wolfhard A.C. booed when Hongo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blas Phelipe didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roddie Bartholomew in the 10th minute of play forced Hongo FC's goalkeeper Hector Hodei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ambrosio Gamus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Tome, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hongo FC were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after Wolfhard A.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Clemente Esquipula took the corner. The corner ended in Clemente Esquipula almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Wolfhard A.C.'s Ambrosio Gamus did a great save. After a defensive mix-up in Hongo FC's zone, Feliberto Joachim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hector Hodei came out of the goal and Feliberto Joachim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Wolfhard A.C.'s Renato Gaúcho in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hongo FC's goalie prevented a goal. Renato Gaúcho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hector Hodei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roddie Bartholomew, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After having played for 33 minutes, Roddie Bartholomew managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wolfhard A.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Roddie Bartholomew was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37th minute Feliberto Joachim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Hodei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hector Hodei stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Renato Gaúcho's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Wolfhard A.C.'s Renato Gaúcho pulled a muscle in his leg after 41 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 41 minutes into the game, Blas Phelipe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hongo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wolfhard A.C. the free kick. Wolfhard A.C.'s Gerardo Abad was substituted for Renato Gaúcho. The referee gave Wolfhard A.C. a penalty, 44 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Roddie Bartholomew, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Hongo FC's Hector Hodei. 0-2.

After a defensive mix-up in Hongo FC's zone, Feliberto Joachim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hector Hodei came out of the goal and Feliberto Joachim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Gerardo Abad kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hector Hodei. That made the score 0-3 in the 59 minute of play. After 62 minutes, Agustin Quinton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hongo FC and the Wolfhard A.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Agustin Quinton hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Gerardo Abad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hector Hodei made an important save on a dangerous shot by Feliberto Joachim in the 76th minute. 81 minutes into the game, Gerardo Abad lined in a short shot 0-5 behind a frustrated Hector Hodei. Ambrosio Gamus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Tome in the 88th minute of play. Maximo Aimar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Ambrosio Gamus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hongo FC's Valentin Tome got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 96th play minute Roddie Bartholomew came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Hector Hodei. 0-6.
