Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Isidoro Jerico started the match with the kick off. When Salicas 's Isidoro Jerico in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nacimiento AFC's goalkeeper Zeledon Gaxan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Victorino Paulin's late challenge caught a Salicas 's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victorino Paulin helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Nacimiento AFC's Victorino Paulin got a free kick in the 10th minute. Isidoro Jerico took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zeledon Gaxan. Zeledon Gaxan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Salicas 's Omar Tirso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Barto in the 28th minute of play. Isidoro Jerico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Gaxan having to interfere. A collision led to Nacimiento AFC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Guido Iyan hit a great ball. After 34 minutes of play, Salicas 's Isidoro Jerico made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zeledon Gaxan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Isaac Bela's late challenge caught a Nacimiento AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. In the 36th match minute, Salicas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaac Bela to maneuver through the defense. Omar Tirso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rigoberto Barto, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Salicas 's zone, Jimeno Rito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Omar Tirso came out of the goal and Jimeno Rito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guido Iyan's late challenge caught a Salicas 's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rigoberto Barto was the one to do the kick off. Nacimiento AFC's Victorino Paulin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Omar Tirso in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Salicas 's Isidoro Jerico got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 60th minute Jimeno Rito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Tirso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Salicas getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Isidoro Jerico hit a great ball. If Jimeno Rito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rigoberto Barto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Omar Tirso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimeno Rito in the 76th minute of the match. Jimeno Rito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Tirso having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Salicas 's zone, Rigoberto Barto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Omar Tirso came out of the goal and Rigoberto Barto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rigoberto Barto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Omar Tirso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 96 played minutes, Nacimiento AFC's Amadeo Marz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Omar Tirso came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nacimiento AFC reached it. The Salicas players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
