The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Nacimiento AFC's Cristian Ciceron got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After 6 minutes, Cristian Ciceron mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nacimiento AFC and the Sapucai FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 6th match minute, Nacimiento AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Ciceron to maneuver through the defense. In the 10thth minute of the game Desiderio Inge who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nacimiento AFC's Zeledon Gaxan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 14th match minute, Nacimiento AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeo Marz to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute, Desiderio Inge made a precise shot to the right of Zeledon Gaxan. Nacimiento AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Nicolas Peyo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigoberto Barto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 19 played minutes Sapucai FC got a freekick which was hit by Cleto Marko. Desiderio Inge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Zeledon Gaxan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zeledon Gaxan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugenio Fernendo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute Desiderio Inge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Gaxan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nacimiento AFC's Zeledon Gaxan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Desiderio Inge in the 36th minute of play. Zeledon Gaxan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Desiderio Inge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sapucai FC's Cleto Marko got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Desiderio Inge might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zeledon Gaxan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Desiderio Inge ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Nacimiento AFC's zone, Cleto Marko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeledon Gaxan came out of the goal and Cleto Marko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zeledon Gaxan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cleto Marko in the 46th minute of the match. Desiderio Inge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Gaxan having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Desiderio Inge made a kick off. Nacimiento AFC's Victorino Paulin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nicolas Peyo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, Sapucai FC's Ariel Naelio got a free kick in the 54th minute. Desiderio Inge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Gaxan having to interfere. Desiderio Inge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zeledon Gaxan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cleto Marko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Desiderio Inge in the 64thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Zeledon Gaxan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Eugenio Fernendo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zeledon Gaxan. That made the score 0-2 in the 66 minute of play. In the 71st minute Desiderio Inge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Gaxan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristian Ciceron's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicolas Peyo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. In the 74th match minute, Sapucai FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casimiro Galindo to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute, Rigoberto Barto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 78 played minutes Nacimiento AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Barto. Zeledon Gaxan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Desiderio Inge in the 83rd minute. Nicolas Peyo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Ciceron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anibal Santio charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anibal Santio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Anibal Santio kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the last second Zeledon Gaxan throw himself and got hold of the ball when Desiderio Inge in the 92ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. If Cleto Marko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Nacimiento AFC's zone, Desiderio Inge stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeledon Gaxan came out of the goal and Desiderio Inge tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
