Spectators: 7527 (Terracing: 5646, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Maximino Berto started the match with the kick off. Manuel Tonio hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 3 minutes, Wilfredo Irrintzi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 7th minute Gogo Vimaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Pedroso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anastasio Pedroso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustacio Gaxan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 10 minutes of play, Gryffindor Lions's Eustacio Gaxan made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anastasio Pedroso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gogo Vimaro took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anastasio Pedroso. Anastasio Pedroso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Anastasio Pedroso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Tonio in the 18th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Leones FC's Adrian Nuno got a free kick in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Tonio in the 21st minute of play forced Leones FC's goalkeeper Anastasio Pedroso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Leones FC's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Tonio came free, but Anastasio Pedroso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anastasio Pedroso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gogo Vimaro in the 26th minute of the match. The supporters of Gryffindor Lions booed when Leones FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Tabor didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 28 played minutes, Gryffindor Lions's Manuel Tonio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Anastasio Pedroso came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gryffindor Lions reached it. In the 30th match minute, Gryffindor Lions was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Milian to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the game, Gryffindor Lions's Manuel Tonio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anastasio Pedroso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 44th minute, Eustacio Gaxan made a precise shot to the right of Anastasio Pedroso. Leones FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gogo Vimaro in the 47th minute of play forced Leones FC's goalkeeper Anastasio Pedroso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Gryffindor Lions were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Gryffindor Lions made a substitution. Froilan Astrada replaced Gogo Vimaro. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Froilan Astrada to make the kick off. Froilan Astrada could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Anastasio Pedroso made a huge save. Santo Iraido struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Anastasio Pedroso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gryffindor Lions. Anastasio Pedroso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Froilan Astrada in the 60th minute of the match. In the 63rd match minute, Leones FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Tabor to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Froilan Astrada in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anastasio Pedroso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gryffindor Lions were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after Leones FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Manuel Tonio took the corner. Elpidio Remigio was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Froilan Astrada got free with Anastasio Pedroso in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Simon Milian kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Anastasio Pedroso. That made the score 0-5 in the 75 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Froilan Astrada in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anastasio Pedroso saved Leones FC from getting behind. With a little luck, Leones FC's Anastasio Pedroso got control of the ball when Froilan Astrada tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 84th minute of the match, Froilan Astrada tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Anastasio Pedroso saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Anastasio Pedroso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Froilan Astrada in the 89th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Froilan Astrada notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Leones FC's Anastasio Pedroso. Anastasio Pedroso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Norberto Raphael hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Ramon Maurino's late challenge caught a Leones FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ramon Maurino helped the player get up and apologised. 96 minutes into the game, one of Gryffindor Lions:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gryffindor Lions's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
