But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danilo Abalos couldn't finish the play. In the 9th minute Aquiles Bento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Pedroso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabricio Rivero hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. 45 minutes into the game, Berreta's Felix Caetano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anastasio Pedroso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3.

The wind increased when Mateo Mannuel made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Berreta's Aquiles Bento slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Anastasio Pedroso. That made the score 0-4 after 52 minutes of play. Anastasio Pedroso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mateo Mannuel in the 56th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Maximino Berto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leones FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximino Berto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eleuterio Fidensio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Berreta's Clemente Ikatz managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Eloy Elija in the 59 minute of the game. Anastasio Pedroso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquiles Bento in the 61st minute of the match. Leones FC's Anastasio Pedroso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Leones FC from getting a goal against them.
