Tobias Cordeara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Pueblo, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After 11 minutes Papagayos AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jaroslaw Drapinski who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Papagayos AFC's goalie and right to Lázaro Chinto. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Papagayos AFC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 13th minute, Clodoveo Amaya reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Silvestre Loramendi. The goal made the score 1-0. Papagayos AFC's Tobias Cordeara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Nesor in the 16th minute of play. Tobias Cordeara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Pueblo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 18 played minutes Papagayos AFC got a freekick which was hit by Clodoveo Amaya. Tobias Cordeara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvestre Nesor, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Picantes del Norte's Silvestre Loramendi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Picantes del Norte from getting a goal against them. Jairo Pueblo took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tobias Cordeara. Tobias Cordeara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Lázaro Chinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jairo Pueblo took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tobias Cordeara. Tobias Cordeara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Tobias Cordeara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marshall Pérez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tobias Cordeara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvestre Nesor in the 44th minute of the match. Tobias Cordeara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvestre Nesor, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Silvestre Nesor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jairo Pueblo might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tobias Cordeara. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jairo Pueblo ran back to his position shaking his head. Silvestre Nesor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Tobias Cordeara made a huge save. Silvestre Nesor hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute, one of Papagayos AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Papagayos AFC. Tobias Cordeara went to the wrong direction when Jaroslaw Drapinski was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Jairo Pueblo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tobias Cordeara, 1-4. In the 68th minute, Picantes del Norte's Jairo Pueblo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tobias Cordeara. Tobias Cordeara yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. In the 73rd minute, Jairo Pueblo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tobias Cordeara. The goal made the score 1-6. When Guillermo Marko came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Picantes del Norte fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guillermo Marko couldn't finish the play. 80 minutes into the match, Papagayos AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Lázaro Chinto came free, but Tobias Cordeara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Papagayos AFC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Jaime Gaufred hit a great ball. With a little luck, Papagayos AFC's Tobias Cordeara got control of the ball when Guillermo Marko tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Picantes del Norte's Guillermo Marko ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tobias Cordeara. Tobias Cordeara yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-7. In the 85th minute, Silvestre Nesor made a precise shot to the right of Tobias Cordeara. Papagayos AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-8. Picantes del Norte were furious when Jairo Pueblo was red carded, 90 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Tobias Cordeara was a little too slow when Silvestre Nesor got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 1-9. When the match was over Picantes del Norte could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Papagayos AFC throughout the match.
