The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Silvestre Loramendi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Pinheiro in the 2nd minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Emanuel Tome left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Straedelburgh fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 13 minutes into the match, Picantes del Norte's goal looked a bit too open when Narciso Madureira came free, but Silvestre Loramendi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silvestre Nesor made a kick off. Marcos Vilas Boas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Picantes del Norte's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Straedelburgh the free kick. Silvestre Nesor kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Silvestre Loramendi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcos Vilas Boas in the 94th minute. Marcos Vilas Boas took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silvestre Loramendi. Silvestre Loramendi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. When the final whistle sounded Straedelburgh left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Picantes del Norte.
