The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The score was now 1-0. 5 minutes into the match, Silvester Radalj dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bernardo Fagondo, 2-0. Jose Llorienzo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Bernardo Fagondo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Bernardo Fagondo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvester Radalj, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernardo Fagondo was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Cristian Kepa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cristian Kepa really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Silvester Radalj received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bernardo Fagondo came out and tried to block the shot, but Silvester Radalj slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 20th minute. Jose Llorienzo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Bernardo Fagondo made a huge save. After 29 played minutes River Plate FC got a freekick which was hit by Joe Mercenario. After 34 played minutes River Plate FC got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo Laurgain. Generoso Meder charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Generoso Meder the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th minute, Jose Llorienzo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernardo Fagondo was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

River Plate FC made a substitution. Adolfo Costante replaced Santiago Frichoso. In the 56th minute, Silvester Radalj made a precise shot to the right of Bernardo Fagondo. River Plate FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Generoso Meder in the 62nd minute of play forced Atlético Hacha's goalkeeper Alexander Domínguez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of River Plate FC booed when Atlético Hacha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Kepa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Atlético Hacha's Cristian Kepa got a free kick in the 65th minute. 67 minutes into the game, Atlético Hacha's Silvester Radalj nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. After a rather tough play, River Plate FC's Niceto Macario got a free kick in the 79th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Silvester Radalj had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernardo Fagondo. River Plate FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Silvester Radalj was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. After a rather tough play, Atlético Hacha's Jose Llorienzo got a free kick in the 85th minute. Silvester Radalj struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Bernardo Fagondo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético Hacha. Atlético Hacha walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
