Desiderio Felipillo kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Coghlan FC's Benjamin Cordeal got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gervasio Brun came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Coghlan FC's Ramond Abila. But to his dismay, Ramond Abila quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 10th minute Fermin Txanton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Bülent Özgur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gervasio Brun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benjamin Cordeal's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bonifacio Emenon in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gervasio Brun saved INSTITUTO FC ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ from getting behind. Gervasio Brun came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Coghlan FC's Benjamin Cordeal. But to his dismay, Benjamin Cordeal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Benjamin Cordeal struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Gervasio Brun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coghlan FC. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by INSTITUTO FC ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cleto Flor was slow to take the kick. During this time Coghlan FC's players had a chance to rest. Gervasio Brun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benjamin Cordeal's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Gervasio Brun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramond Abila in the 27th minute of the match. Gervasio Brun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Cordeal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adolfo Ubarna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gervasio Brun came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Coghlan FC's Adolfo Ubarna. But to his dismay, Adolfo Ubarna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Gervasio Brun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Cordeal in the 37th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Benjamin Cordeal put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Gervasio Brun. 0-7 became the score in the 44th minute when Benjamin Cordeal elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The INSTITUTO FC ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Coghlan FC were winning 0-7.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benjamin Cordeal to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Benjamin Cordeal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coghlan FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamin Cordeal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benjamin Cordeal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Benjamin Cordeal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gervasio Brun was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Ramond Abila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. INSTITUTO FC ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ's Gervasio Brun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tjeerd Klinkhamer in the 61st minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 65 minutes, Gervasio Brun successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 67 minutes into the match, Benjamin Cordeal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gervasio Brun. INSTITUTO FC ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benjamin Cordeal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. With an all-out effort, Coghlan FC's Gervasio Brun threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Benjamin Cordeal, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tjeerd Klinkhamer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Benjamin Cordeal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coghlan FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benjamin Cordeal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gervasio Brun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. INSTITUTO FC ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ's Gervasio Brun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save INSTITUTO FC ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ from getting a goal against them. Benjamin Cordeal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Adolfo Ubarna came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Coghlan FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adolfo Ubarna couldn't finish the play. In the 93rdth minute of the game Benjamin Cordeal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but INSTITUTO FC ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ's Gervasio Brun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tjeerd Klinkhamer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Gervasio Brun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gervasio Brun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Cordeal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Coghlan FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
