With a little luck, Anguilan's Tobias Txaran got control of the ball when Manuel Gumaro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Manuel Gumaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Tobias Txaran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Omar Federigo kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Tobias Txaran was a little too slow when Marcos Fix got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 1-0. Manuel Gumaro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Tobias Txaran when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Norberto Ezkerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Txaran having to interfere. When Anguilan's Fabio Bergomi in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gowlan AFC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norberto Ezkerra in the 31st minute of play forced Anguilan's goalkeeper Tobias Txaran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Manuel Gumaro took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Tobias Txaran to make any attempt to save it. Agustin Argoitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Breckenfeld in the 40th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Omar Federigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 44 minutes, Manuel Gumaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gowlan AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Gumaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 48th minute, Fabio Bergomi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Agustin Argoitz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabio Bergomi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Anguilan's Tobias Txaran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Gumaro in the 54th minute of play. Gowlan AFC's Agustin Argoitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Gowlan AFC from getting a goal against them. Anguilan's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Remigio Mingo in the 60th minute. In the 72nd minute Marcos Fix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Txaran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Gowlan AFC booed when Anguilan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omar Federigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Norberto Ezkerra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tobias Txaran. Anguilan's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Norberto Ezkerra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Agustin Argoitz made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Luciano Breckenfeld sent off a good shot on target. After 79 minutes of play, Gowlan AFC's Marcos Fix made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tobias Txaran was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Abella in the 87th minute of play forced Anguilan's goalkeeper Tobias Txaran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tobias Txaran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Fix, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 89th minute, Leopoldo Gartxot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 91 minutes into the match, Gowlan AFC's goalkeeper Agustin Argoitz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luciano Breckenfeld. 95 minutes into the match, Norberto Ezkerra notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Anguilan's Tobias Txaran. Tobias Txaran was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 99th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gowlan AFC's goalkeeper Agustin Argoitz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gowlan AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
