Gaston Umea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mauro Eate charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mauro Eate the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Calva getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Mauro Eate hit a great ball. In the 12th minute Gustavo Guillerme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Blanco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Florencio Senin notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Club Atlético Zuviría's Atilano Tono. Atilano Tono was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Florencio Senin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Atilano Tono having to make a save. Javier Oinatz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Armando Blanco made a huge save. Armando Blanco didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 32nd minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. Florencio Senin took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Atilano Tono. Atilano Tono dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. If Florencio Senin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florencio Senin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Atilano Tono read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. After 46 played minutes Club Atlético Zuviría got a freekick which was hit by Emiliano Izotz. Gaston Umea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Florencio Senin to make the kick off. Gaston Umea did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-3 to the left of a surprised Atilano Tono 51 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eustaquio Sauveur during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Club Atlético Zuviría fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 54th minute. Penalty! Florencio Senin placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Atilano Tono took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaston Umea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Calva booed when Club Atlético Zuviría was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pastor Peru didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Calva's Florencio Senin tried to score from far away in the 62nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. With his leg Atilano Tono managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Calva's Florencio Senin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 75 minutes into the match, Gaston Umea dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Atilano Tono, 1-5. If Florencio Senin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atilano Tono made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaston Umea in the 90th minute of play. Atilano Tono came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Calva's Gaston Umea. But to his dismay, Gaston Umea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. In the 93rd play minute Florencio Senin came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Atilano Tono. 1-8. In the 97th minute, Florencio Senin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Calva played a much better game than Club Atlético Zuviría and deserved their victory. The Club Atlético Zuviría players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
