Christof Bruyneel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Keanu Orive, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Darman Ardiansyah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Astor Gartzen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Japy Man booed when loa turris was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Policarpio didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Darman Ardiansyah in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Astor Gartzen saved loa turris from getting behind. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Keanu Orive to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Arnaldo Camargo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christof Bruyneel was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Thanks to some nice moves Keanu Orive could shoot a difficult shot in the 53rd minute, which Christof Bruyneel however easily saved by the left post.
