Los Diablos Piquenses's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alumbrera the free kick. A collision led to Los Diablos Piquenses getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Ovando Castan hit a great ball. Matúš Tomeček kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Ovando Castan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elvio Elorri was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. With his leg Severiano Quinteros managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Alumbrera 's Leonardo Derwin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 20th minute, Roch Lesiecki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonardo Derwin couldn't finish the play. Roch Lesiecki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Alumbrera booed when Los Diablos Piquenses was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingos Leguizamón didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonardo Derwin in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Severiano Quinteros saved Los Diablos Piquenses from getting behind. Leonardo Derwin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Severiano Quinteros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Matúš Tomeček scored 0-5 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elvio Elorri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonardo Derwin to make the kick off. Domingos Leguizamón received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Elvio Elorri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 54 minutes of play, Los Diablos Piquenses's Roch Lesiecki made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elvio Elorri was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Ovando Castan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elvio Elorri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roch Lesiecki in the 62nd minute. A collision led to Alumbrera getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Leopoldo Serafo hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the match, Los Diablos Piquenses's Jimeno Abajas broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 68th minute, Leopoldo Serafo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Severiano Quinteros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Derwin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ovando Castan got free with Elvio Elorri in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 86thth minute of the game Ovando Castan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alumbrera 's Elvio Elorri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Los Diablos Piquenses's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Derwin came free, but Severiano Quinteros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alumbrera 's Gu Yuan Rong got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 94 minutes into the match, Los Diablos Piquenses's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Derwin came free, but Severiano Quinteros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ovando Castan did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-9 to the left of a surprised Elvio Elorri 95 minutes into the match. The Alumbrera supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Los Diablos Piquenses's performance. The match ended with a win for Los Diablos Piquenses.
