An unexpectedly hard shot by Darman Ardiansyah in the 14th minute of play forced Brugo's goalkeeper Gaspar Gabino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 15th play minutes Darman Ardiansyah shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Gaspar Gabino and just under the crossbar into goal. The Japy Man fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Japy Man's Melchor Joseph looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Japy Man's Artemio Marcones got a free kick in the 30th minute. Gaspar Gabino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Darman Ardiansyah went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Brugo defense, Melchor Joseph kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaspar Gabino. The Brugo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaspar Gabino should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Darman Ardiansyah was the one to do the kick off. Amancio Bilintx's late challenge caught a Japy Man's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amancio Bilintx helped the player get up and apologised. In the 52nd match minute, Brugo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amancio Bilintx to maneuver through the defense.
