Teodosio Lop might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aquilino Ciano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teodosio Lop ran back to his position shaking his head. Aquilino Ciano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodosio Lop in the 10th minute of the match. Teodosio Lop fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquilino Ciano having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Teodosio Lop ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aquilino Ciano was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Teodosio Lop might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aquilino Ciano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teodosio Lop ran back to his position shaking his head. 18 minutes into the game, La Zabaleta's Teodosio Lop nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aquilino Ciano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After some careless play in the San Marco FC defense, Albin Ånger kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aquilino Ciano. The San Marco FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aquilino Ciano should have stopped the shot. Aquilino Ciano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albin Ånger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albin Ånger took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aquilino Ciano. Aquilino Ciano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 29th minute, Silvano Quilino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. San Marco FC's Aquilino Ciano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martien Zwart in the 30th minute of play. Aquilino Ciano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodosio Lop, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 33 minutes into the match, Teodosio Lop notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of San Marco FC's Aquilino Ciano. Aquilino Ciano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 40th minute, Silvano Quilino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aquilino Ciano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robustiano Guillerme went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Albin Ånger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 48 minutes into the match, San Marco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teodosio Lop came free, but Aquilino Ciano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anastasio Abalos made a kick off. If Edgard Bermudo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodosio Lop took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aquilino Ciano. Aquilino Ciano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albin Ånger got free with Aquilino Ciano in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of La Zabaleta booed when San Marco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Nastasio didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Teodosio Lop had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute, Edgard Bermudo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aquilino Ciano. The goal made the score 0-9. After 85 minutes San Marco FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Martien Zwart who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Teodosio Lop heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 97 minutes had been played when some careless play by San Marco FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Martien Zwart was slow to take the kick. During this time La Zabaleta's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Albin Ånger managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand.
