Enrique Arósio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquilino Ciano having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juan-Sebastián Torres in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aquilino Ciano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, San Marco FC's Aquilino Ciano got control of the ball when Jindřich Přecechtěl tried to sneak it across the goal line. Juan-Sebastián Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Aquilino Ciano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Velez's Juan-Sebastián Torres sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aquilino Ciano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jindřich Přecechtěl's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aquilino Ciano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Jedrzej Tomaka kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aquilino Ciano. That made the score 3-0 in the 24 minute of play. With a little luck, San Marco FC's Aquilino Ciano got control of the ball when Jindřich Přecechtěl tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan-Sebastián Torres in the 29th minute of play forced San Marco FC's goalkeeper Aquilino Ciano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jedrzej Tomaka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Aquilino Ciano managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Velez's Jedrzej Tomaka fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Aquilino Ciano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juan-Sebastián Torres went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Juan-Sebastián Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aquilino Ciano didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Velez's Juan-Sebastián Torres shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 6-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anastasio Abalos was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Velez booed when San Marco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iker Cordarius didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 53 minutes of play, Velez's Enrique Arósio made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aquilino Ciano was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 56th minute, Jedrzej Tomaka ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aquilino Ciano was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. Jedrzej Tomaka blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aquilino Ciano having to make a save. Aquilino Ciano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan-Sebastián Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Götz Dubach blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aquilino Ciano having to make a save. Juan-Sebastián Torres took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aquilino Ciano. Aquilino Ciano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. 71 minutes into the match, Jindřich Přecechtěl notched a goal, 11-0, to the right of San Marco FC's Aquilino Ciano. Aquilino Ciano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aquilino Ciano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Enrique Arósio went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 12-0 was the resulting score. Jedrzej Tomaka took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aquilino Ciano. Aquilino Ciano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 13-0. Roque Tulio might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fulgencio Rioja. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roque Tulio ran back to his position shaking his head. After 84 minutes of play, Velez's Juan-Sebastián Torres made it 14-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aquilino Ciano was left in no man's land by his defense there! 87 minutes into the game, Velez's Jindřich Přecechtěl nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aquilino Ciano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 15-0. In the 90th minute, Juan-Sebastián Torres ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aquilino Ciano was frozen by the shot and now it was 16-0. When the referee ended the match the Velez players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
