Rafael Mambru succeeded in the game's 8th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. The supporters of Puntin y Salimos booed when Quilmes A.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laureano Rik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guido Teofilio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Mambru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, Rafael Mambru dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Guido Teofilio, 2-0. 29 minutes into the game, Javier Naelio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quilmes A.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Puntin y Salimos the free kick. A collision led to Quilmes A.C. getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Javier Naelio hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the game, Mauro Jerardo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Puntin y Salimos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quilmes A.C. the free kick. After 34 played minutes Puntin y Salimos got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Jerardo. Guido Teofilio stood somewhat misplaced when Rafael Mambru came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 35 minute. The supporters of Puntin y Salimos booed when Quilmes A.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Jesco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 40 minutes, Manuel Lore managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Puntin y Salimos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Lore was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Quilmes A.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Hever was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Arturo Erroman's late challenge caught a Quilmes A.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arturo Erroman helped the player get up and apologised. In the 46th minute, Arturo Erroman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The wind increased when Mariano Hever made the kick off in the second half. Quilmes A.C. were furious when Paulo Jesco was red carded, 54 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 53 minutes into the game, one of Quilmes A.C.:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Emilio Frederik might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guido Teofilio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emilio Frederik ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 65th minute Basilio Orlondon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guido Teofilio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guido Teofilio came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Quilmes A.C.'s Emilio Frederik. But to his dismay, Emilio Frederik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Guido Teofilio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laureano Rik in the 71st minute of the match. 73 minutes into the game, Laureano Rik was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quilmes A.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Puntin y Salimos the free kick. The supporters of Puntin y Salimos booed when Quilmes A.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laureano Rik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Quilmes A.C.'s Emilio Frederik couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 78th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Puntin y Salimos. Zygmunt Olchowy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Hever in the 83rd minute. The audience was convinced that Mariano Hever's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zygmunt Olchowy was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. 88 minutes into the match, Puntin y Salimos's goal looked a bit too open when Laureano Rik came free, but Guido Teofilio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Emilio Frederik came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Quilmes A.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emilio Frederik couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Quilmes A.C.'s Laureano Rik got a free kick in the 97th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Mariano Hever could shoot a difficult shot in the 98th minute, which Zygmunt Olchowy however easily saved by the left post.
