Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5626, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 0) Rafael Mambru had several of the Black Bulls FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 5 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Severiano Beremundo as he didn't even see the shot coming. After some careless play in the Quilmes A.C. defense, Georges Jannes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zygmunt Olchowy. The Quilmes A.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zygmunt Olchowy should have stopped the shot. In the 11th minute, Joel Menendo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 22nd minute, Joel Menendo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zygmunt Olchowy was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The Quilmes A.C. fans' excitement grew in the 30th match minute when Quilmes A.C.'s Rafael Mambru looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Eustaquio Lluciano scored 2-3 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zygmunt Olchowy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Quilmes A.C.'s Zygmunt Olchowy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Iratzeder in the 36th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Quilmes A.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Joel Menendo came free, but Zygmunt Olchowy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafael Mambru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Severiano Beremundo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernardo Iratzeder made a kick off. Zygmunt Olchowy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernardo Iratzeder in the 56th minute. After 59 played minutes Quilmes A.C. got a freekick which was hit by Federico Stanislao. A collision led to Quilmes A.C. getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Emilio Frederik hit a great ball. Bernardo Iratzeder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Severiano Beremundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Mambru in the 95th minute of play. After 98 played minutes Quilmes A.C. got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Frederik.
