In the 11thth minute of the game Michael Scofield who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hugolinos⚽'s Antonín Berousek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ciriaco Pirro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Ovidio Cristos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Rios in the 14th minute of play forced Hugolinos⚽'s goalkeeper Antonín Berousek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Conrado Rios managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pilar's supporters rose to their feet, but Conrado Rios was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antonín Berousek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leon Gaxan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Cristos having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Conrado Rios in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antonín Berousek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 27th minute, Hugolinos⚽'s Leon Gaxan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ovidio Cristos. Ovidio Cristos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Nicasio Gorka hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute Ciriaco Pirro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Cristos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Pilar's Ovidio Cristos got control of the ball when Roberto Baggio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ovidio Cristos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roberto Baggio in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute, Conrado Rios got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nicasio Gorka hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

Hugolinos⚽'s Marciano Nuñez was substituted for Leon Gaxan. The wind increased when Ciriaco Pirro made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Pilar's Artemio Bitxintxo got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pilar's goalkeeper Ovidio Cristos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hugolinos⚽'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jonathan Candia was slow to take the kick. During this time Pilar's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Pilar's corner Jonathan Candia fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Antonín Berousek quite easily take care of the ball. After 60 played minutes, Hugolinos⚽'s Roberto Baggio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ovidio Cristos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hugolinos⚽ reached it. Antonín Berousek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Rios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the match, Ciriaco Pirro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ovidio Cristos. Pilar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ciriaco Pirro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 67 minutes into the game, Hugolinos⚽'s Ciriaco Pirro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ovidio Cristos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Hugolinos⚽'s Antonín Berousek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Rios in the 70th minute of play. In the 71st minute Ciriaco Pirro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Cristos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 73 minutes Pilar's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Roberto Baggio who took care of the corner kick. Antonín Berousek made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Michael Scofield sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Michael Scofield's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Antonín Berousek was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Ovidio Cristos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Di Marzio in the 86th minute of the match. If Roberto Baggio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ovidio Cristos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciriaco Pirro, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Pilar's Ovidio Cristos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Di Marzio in the 92nd minute of play. Antonín Berousek came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Pilar's Michael Scofield. But to his dismay, Michael Scofield quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Hugolinos⚽ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pilar had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
