Gaston Nevada scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ovidio Cristos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ovidio Cristos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthias Vall in the 14th minute of play. Pilar's Ovidio Cristos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthias Vall in the 17th minute of play. Carlitos Parodi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Scofield in the 19th minute of the match. Carlitos Parodi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Ralondo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ovidio Cristos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Nevada, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After 25 minutes, Matthias Vall made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Pilar's Ovidio Cristos tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Carlitos Parodi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Rios in the 31st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Matthias Vall's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ovidio Cristos was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. A long shot from Matthieu Larrouy in the 46th minute of play was well struck, but Carlitos Parodi made a really good save at the right post. The Pilar players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Acratas Unidos were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Emiliano Ralondo made the kick off in the second half. Elias Bidun hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. In the 52nd minute Michael Scofield shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlitos Parodi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ovidio Cristos was a little too slow when Matthias Vall got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 0-4. Ovidio Cristos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthias Vall in the 65th minute of the match. Acratas Unidos's Rigoberto Santikurtz was substituted for Enrique Theobald. Acratas Unidos's Erasmo Gregory was substituted for Elias Bidun. Gaston Nevada blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ovidio Cristos having to make a save. Pilar's Ovidio Cristos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Pilar from getting a goal against them. With his leg Ovidio Cristos managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when Acratas Unidos's Matthias Vall fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 90 minutes Pilar's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aaron Ted who took care of the corner kick. Acratas Unidos's Aaron Ted was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ovidio Cristos in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Through an outstanding action, after 93 minutes, Ovidio Cristos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The Pilar fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Acratas Unidos were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
