The audience was convinced that Antonio Bernard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Boruc Bucyki was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. But to his dismay, Antonio Bernard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

With a little luck, Batavia's Boruc Bucyki got control of the ball when Antonio Bernard tried to sneak it across the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Batavia's goal looked a bit too open when Erasmo Oxarra came free, but Boruc Bucyki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Erasmo Oxarra kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Boruc Bucyki. That made the score 0-2 in the 59 minute of play. After 93 played minutes TALLERES DE CBA got a freekick which was hit by Hector Eneko. Hector Eneko's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Boruc Bucyki firmly grabbed it by the left post. The Batavia fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. TALLERES DE CBA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
