In the 28th minute, Adolfo Elia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luis Nardo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Lukáš Katačić received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Melquiades Mambru came out and tried to block the shot, but Lukáš Katačić slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 37th minute. When MORPH's Steffe Lenaerts in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Florida Gulf Coast's goalie prevented a goal. A throw-in in the 47th minute of the game was made by Gustavo-Hernán Díaz with Emiliano Berdaitz as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Lukáš Katačić made the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Florida Gulf Coast's goalkeeper Luis Nardo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adolfo Elia. Lukáš Katačić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Mambru having to interfere. The supporters of MORPH booed when Florida Gulf Coast was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladislav Febov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luis Nardo made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Ambrosio Estevez sent off a good shot on target. The referee felt a red card was in order, 63 minutes into the game, when Celedonio Esquipula put in a rough tackle. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Lukáš Katačić managed to get in a good position for a shot. Florida Gulf Coast's supporters rose to their feet, but Lukáš Katačić was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melquiades Mambru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. MORPH made a substitution. Orlando Lopez replaced Apolo Rios. 80 minutes into the game, Gustavo-Hernán Díaz threw the ball into play from the sideline. Florida Gulf Coast's John James quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 89th minute of the game Steve Rogers made a throw-in which Sixto Bitxintxo played forward. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lukáš Katačić in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Melquiades Mambru prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lukáš Katačić's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Melquiades Mambru read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Lukáš Katačić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Melquiades Mambru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Florida Gulf Coast supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching MORPH's performance. The match ended with a win for MORPH.
