The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Higinio Jerano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marek Brudnicki. That made the score 2-0 in the 7 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Florida Gulf Coast's Hermengildo Herauso slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marek Brudnicki. That made the score 3-0 after 11 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, KRK BULLS's Leszek Giertych got a free kick in the 15th minute. The supporters of KRK BULLS booed when Florida Gulf Coast was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Sanchez didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Higinio Jerano got free with Marek Brudnicki in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Izydor Oryniak might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucio Geofredo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Izydor Oryniak ran back to his position shaking his head. Czeslaw Janiczek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Lucio Geofredo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, KRK BULLS's Marek Brudnicki got control of the ball when Higinio Jerano tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 33rd minute Izydor Oryniak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucio Geofredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Higinio Jerano notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of KRK BULLS's Marek Brudnicki. Marek Brudnicki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 38th match minute, KRK BULLS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wincent Percha to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to KRK BULLS getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Michal Swoboda hit a great ball. After 46 minutes, Gabriel Sanchez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Florida Gulf Coast and the KRK BULLS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 46 played minutes Florida Gulf Coast got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Sanchez. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Izydor Oryniak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aurelio Erruki during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of KRK BULLS booed when Florida Gulf Coast was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelio Erruki didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute, Higinio Jerano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marek Brudnicki was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. In the 65th minute, Czeslaw Janiczek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 67 minutes into the match, KRK BULLS's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Erruki came free, but Marek Brudnicki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of KRK BULLS booed when Florida Gulf Coast was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Higinio Jerano didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Czeslaw Janiczek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucio Geofredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Izydor Oryniak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hermengildo Herauso took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marek Brudnicki. Marek Brudnicki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. When Leszek Giertych was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 83 minutes had been played. KRK BULLS's Marek Brudnicki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Higinio Jerano in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermengildo Herauso in the 86th minute of play forced KRK BULLS's goalkeeper Marek Brudnicki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute Aurelio Erruki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marek Brudnicki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hermengildo Herauso's late challenge caught a KRK BULLS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hermengildo Herauso helped the player get up and apologised. Marek Brudnicki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelio Erruki, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
