After taking down the ball on Guanacos's corner Danilo Sanchez fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Raul Lipp quite easily take care of the ball. Marcial Orlandus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elpidio Ekain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes in the game, Elpidio Ekain dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Raul Lipp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danilo Sanchez, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. The corner ended in Danilo Sanchez almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ñacuñán AC's Raul Lipp did a great save. The Guanacos fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Guanacos's Marcelo Mendebal looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Guanacos's Denis Pello got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Elpidio Ekain's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcial Orlandus was relentless in the 37th minute of the game.
